WhatsApp is constantly upgrading its platform. We already know that the company is working on bringing multi-device support to its platform. Now, word is that the Facebook-owned messaging app is working on another feature that would make using groups a tad bit less annoying.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on a new feature called Mute Always. This feature will enable users to block the pesky group notifications forever.
As of now, WhatsApp gives its users three options for muting the annoying group notifications. This includes eight hours, one week and one year. But now, the company is working on extending this limit such that users will be able to block group chat notifications indefinitely.
As per a screenshot shared by the blog site, WhatsApp is planning to replace the one year option with ‘Mute Always’ button enabling users to mute unwanted group notifications forever or until the time they are not ready to participate in the group actively again….Read More>>
