New Lockdown Rules From May 4 – What’s Allowed and What’s Not

The Centre reviewed the COVID-19 situation in the country and on May 1 extended the lockdown further by 2 weeks.

In a directive issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the ministry laid down guidelines to be followed in different zones across the country – Red, Orange and Green – depending on the risk factors in various districts.

State/UT governments are mandated to strictly enforce the lockdown guidelines and they shall not dilute these guidelines issued under the Disaster Management Act, 2005, in any manner. MHA issued the following guidelines to be followed in the 2 weeks of lockdown:
