Those looking to travel abroad can now link their vaccination certificates to passports through the CoWin portal for use during travel. The official handle of the Aarogya Setu shared the development along with the steps required to update or correct details of passport in the vaccination certificate.
“Now, you can update your passport number in your vaccination certificate,” the official handle of Aarogya Setu app tweeted.
Take these steps to link your passport to vaccination certificate through CoWin
>>Go to CoWin web portal -www.cowin.gov.in
>>Login with your credentials
>>Click on ‘Raise an issue’ option on the website
>>Browse to ‘Passport’ option and from the drop down menu select the person whose certificate needs to be linked to vaccine certificate
>>Enter Passport number and submit
>>Check the information displayed and check for any discrepancies, you can also edit the information details.
Aarogya Setu tweeted :-
- Now you can update your Passport number in your vaccination certificate.
- Login to http://cowin.gov.in.
- Select Raise a Issue
- Select the passport option
- Select the person from the drop down menu
- Enter passport number
- Submit
- You will receive the new certificate in seconds.
