The newest reports by the Central Government have now confirmed that if you have more than nine SIM cards, you will be flagged for re-verification of all numbers. Additionally, you will only be allowed to carry only nine SIM cards, and the rest will be discontinued.

Only Nine SIM Cards Per Person To Be Allowed From Now 

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has been asked to re-verify all the SIM cards of all the users who possess more than nine SIM cards.

The users will be given the option by the telecom department to keep any nine numbers they want and will have to discontinue the others.

Whereas, the people living in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) and northeast will be allowed only six SIM cards.

In addition to that, telecom service providers will be asked by the DoT to suspend all the flagged mobile connections within 30 days.

Also, incoming services to the flagged numbers will be discontinued after 45 days. This move will make sure that all fraudulent call activities will be reduced in India.
